Imagine your company runs on Salesforce. Every day, someone updates a customer record, checks a sales number, or looks up a case. To do any of that, they have to open the Salesforce app, find the right screen, click a few buttons, and hope they clicked the right ones.
Salesforce just said something bold at its big yearly event, called Dreamforce. They said: what if you didn’t need to open that app at all? What if you could just tell an AI helper what you want, in plain words, from wherever you already are — like Slack or Claude — and it did the work for you?
That’s the idea behind a new set of tools called AIforce, all sitting inside a bigger marketplace called AgentExchange. Let’s walk through what was announced, one piece at a time, in plain, simple language.
